In addition to our comprehensive production capabilities, Ampex provides additional services to support our Customer's desire to simplify the supply chain. Our experience tells us that the furnishing of finished subassemblies is of great value to our Customers. To that end, we provide welding, assembly, finishings and coatings to our extensive range of value added offerings.
Welding
In addition to our other capabilities, Ampex offers welding services in-house including butt, resistance and robotic MIG welding.
We use Taylor Winfield and Weld Systems Integrators equipment along with Myachi controllers for our resistance welding. An ABB IRC5 with Robotware 5 and Robot Studio software is used for high speed robotic MIG welding.
Component Assemblies
As a single source supplier, Ampex provides full service assembly options. We can help source the additional components you need to go with the stampings we provide and then put all of the pieces together to deliver finished subassemblies.
